Denial of service in the ELAN Miniport touchpad Windows driver before 24.21.51.2 allows local users to crash Windows via a crafted IOCTL. The driver processes the special IOCTL request twice, causing a Windows blue-screen crash. Exploitation requires locally running a purpose-built program with knowledge of the specific IOCTL; ELAN reports no private-data exposure.
