Ticket metadata disclosure via shared-organization overview access
Published Oct 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Incorrect authorization in Zammad before 5.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to view metadata for other users' tickets. The ticket overview access check treats shared organization membership as sufficient permission and includes unauthorized tickets' titles and states. An account in a shared organization is required; the ticket itself cannot be opened, and the exposure is limited to overview metadata.
