Authentication bypass via user-controlled SQL query
Published Dec 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Ivanti Avalanche before 6.3.3 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication through the InfoRail service. The SettingsDaoImpl class executes SQL queries composed from a user-controlled string in a crafted request. Access to the network-reachable InfoRail service is required, and successful exploitation grants unauthorized system access without a reported availability impact.
