Higher-privilege interface access via missing authorization
Published Nov 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Improper access control in Business-DNA Solutions GmbH TopEase 7.1.27 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to view restricted functions. The front-end source exposes identifiers for the Shape Editor and Settings, and server-side authorization fails to enforce their higher-privilege restrictions. A valid low-privilege account is required; exploitation exposes those restricted interfaces without reported data modification or service interruption.
