Improper input validation in SAP 3D Visual Enterprise Viewer before 9.0 allows attackers to crash the application via a crafted JT file. The Jupiter Tessellation file-processing path accepts malformed data without adequate validation, but SAP has not disclosed the exact parser operation that fails. Exploitation requires a user to open a file received from an untrusted source; the resulting outage lasts until the application restarts.
