Authenticated metadata disclosure via unchecked client actions
Published Nov 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Incorrect authorization in Siemens Mendix 8 before 8.18.13 and Mendix 9 before 9.6.2 allows remote authenticated users to read object metadata. Affected client actions return the changedDate attribute without enforcing the object's configured read-access rules. A valid application account and a reachable affected client action are required; exposure is limited to modification-time metadata, not object contents.
