Integer overflow in Siemens RUGGEDCOM ROS devices allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory through a large allocation request. The third-party partition-size allocator wraps a large requested size to a smaller allocation because it does not check memory boundaries. Exploitation requires high privileges and complex network conditions and can alter memory or interrupt the device.
