Unauthenticated hijacking of active sessions
Published Feb 14, 2022 · Updated Apr 14, 2025
Improper access control in Open Identity Platform OpenAM before 6.5.4 or 7.1.1 allows remote attackers to hijack active sessions. The vendor has not publicly identified the affected endpoint or explained which missing access-control check exposes a victim's session. Exploitation requires no privileges but, under the vendor assessment, requires user interaction; a captured administrator session grants that account's authority.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
