Authenticated arbitrary SQL execution via unsanitized event identifiers
Published May 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in ChurchCRM 2.0.0 through 4.4.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary database commands during record edits. The EventEditor.php, EditEventTypes.php, and EventNames.php endpoints pass the EID, EN_tyid, and theID fields into database operations without sanitization. An authenticated session and access to event-editing functions are required; exploitation permits database contents to be read, modified, or deleted.
