Database compromise via injectable search inputs
Published Jun 6, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Blind SQL injection in Wolters Kluwer TeamMate+ Audit 28.0.19.0 allows remote authenticated users to read and alter audit data. Multiple search inputs pass injected Boolean SQL expressions to the database, and differing HTTP 500 and 200 responses expose a truth oracle. Any authenticated account can use the oracle to extract database secrets gradually, including other users' information and protected audit data.
