Database disclosure via unsanitized vacancy identifier
Published Nov 17, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Company's Recruitment Management System allows remote attackers to read database data through the public vacancy id parameter. The view_vacancy handler incorporates the id query parameter into an SQL query without neutralizing SQL syntax, allowing attackers to alter query conditions. The vacancy page is publicly accessible without an account, and demonstrated requests expose stored password hashes.
