Database disclosure via unparameterized rid query
Published Jan 24, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Recipe Sharing Website CMS 1.0 allows remote attackers to read or alter database records via the view_recipe rid parameter. The rid value reaches an SQLite WHERE clause without effective quoting or parameterization, as boolean-blind, time-based, and UNION payloads change query behavior. No authentication or human interaction is required, and demonstrated exploitation dumps administrator password hashes, enabling account takeover.
