Read-only access via embedded shared credentials
Published Sep 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Hard-coded credentials in Zoho ManageEngine Remote Access Plus before 10.1.2121.1 allow remote attackers to obtain read-only access. The DCBackupRestore JAR source embeds a shared credential instead of generating a unique password for each installation. Possession of the embedded credential enables network access without an existing account, and the published impact is limited to reading data.
