Script execution via stored configuration data
Published May 2, 2022 · Updated Feb 23, 2026
Stored script injection in M-Files Admin before 22.2.11051.0 allows local users with vault administrator rights to execute scripts. The admin tool accepts configuration data containing script content and later runs that stored content in another vault administrator's session. Exploitation requires vault administrator authentication and interaction by a second vault administrator; the vendor states that the flaw is not remotely exploitable.
