Published Oct 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in PuneethReddyHC online-shopping-system-advanced allows remote attackers to read or alter database data via a crafted POST request. The homeaction.php endpoint uses the unsanitized cat_id POST value in a SQL query, allowing attacker-controlled syntax to alter database execution. No authentication is required, and successful exploitation can expose or modify application records and interrupt database-backed operations.
