Unauthenticated file disclosure via Step3 path traversal
Published Oct 4, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Path traversal in SuiteCRM before 7.10.33 and 7.11.22 allows remote attackers to disclose files through Step3 import. Step3 uses the file_name parameter for partial file inclusion without restricting the resolved path to the intended import directory. No authentication or user interaction is required, and disclosure is limited to file content readable by the web application.
