Service interruption via negative page-header values

Improper input validation in Apache Parquet-MR 1.9.0 through 1.11.1 and 1.12.0 through 1.12.1 allows attackers to cause a service interrupt. The page-header reader accepts negative compressed or uncompressed sizes and negative data-page counts, then uses those invalid values during page processing. Exploitation requires a consuming application to read an attacker-supplied Parquet file, and the resulting failure interrupts that application's workload.
