Browser script execution via reflected DWR input
Published Oct 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Reflected XSS in ARCHIBUS Web Central 21.3.3.815 allows remote attackers to execute script in a user's browser via a crafted DWR request. The workflow.runWorkflowRule.dwr endpoint returns client-supplied request data in its HTTP response without adequate validation or output neutralization. Exploitation requires a user to process the crafted response, allowing attacker-controlled HTML or JavaScript to run in that user's Web Central origin.
