Use-after-free in the OBJ parser in Siemens Solid Edge SE2021 before MP8 allows remote attackers to execute code via a malicious OBJ file. The parser performs operations on an object without first validating that the object still exists, permitting reuse of freed memory. Exploitation requires a user to visit a malicious page or open the file, and successful code runs in the Solid Edge process context.
