Low-privilege import and export access via client-side authorization
Published Feb 7, 2025 · Updated Feb 7, 2025
Incorrect authorization in Flexera RISC Platform before saas-2021-12-29 allows remote authenticated users to access import and export functions. The portal trusts access-control values stored in browser localStorage and authorization data returned to client-side code, so altered read permissions unlock restricted functions without matching server-side enforcement. A low-privilege account and an authenticated session are required; successful exploitation exposes import and export functionality and can affect application data.
