Improper authentication in D-Link DCS-5000L 1.05 and DCS-932L 2.17 and earlier allows remote attackers to alter settings over the LAN. The command interface uses HTTP Basic authentication without HTTPS, exposing reusable credentials to remote attackers on the local network. Network access sufficient to observe authenticated traffic is required; recovered credentials permit device access and configuration changes.
