Unauthenticated SQL injection via UserName login field
Published Jun 16, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in the Nokia VitalSuite SPM 2020 login handler allows remote attackers to manipulate database queries through UserName. The /cgi-bin/vsloginadmin.exe handler accepts SQL metacharacters in the UserName form field, and a crafted value executes a time-delay query. The public proof of concept requires no prior authentication; it demonstrates query execution but does not identify the database objects exposed.
