Published Jun 15, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Subscription-Manager 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through the machineDetail parameter. The update method sends machineDetail.info to updateMachineDetail without strict filtering, and the published payload stores an img onerror handler. No privileges are required to send the network payload, but a user must view the affected content for script execution.
