Stored script execution via unencoded Classification Store fields
Published Dec 21, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored XSS in Pimcore before 10.2.7 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through crafted Classification Store fields. Classification Store names, descriptions, titles, and translated grid values are rendered without HTML encoding, allowing saved markup to reach Ext JS grids, tooltips, and titles. High-privileged access is required to save the fields, and execution occurs when an affected administrative view renders them.
