Out-of-bounds read in Microsoft Azure Sphere before 22.07 allows local users with high privileges to disclose Security Monitor memory. The SMSyscallStageBaseManifests handler adds an attacker-controlled offset to a manifest buffer pointer without checking the resulting address, enabling an out-of-bounds read. The path requires elevated privileges or AZURE_SPHERE_CAP_UPDATE_IMAGE and a cross-core race; a complete data-leak exploit was not demonstrated.
