Cross-user log disclosure via query cache collisions
Published Sep 27, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information exposure in Datalust Seq before 2021.2.6259 allows remote authenticated users to view query results outside their view filters. Constant arrays in IN clauses are precomputed and inlined, while the query-cache key generator fails to encode their elements, causing distinct cacheable queries to share results. Exposure requires an array or IN clause in the user's view filter and another user to have recently run an otherwise identical cacheable query with different array elements.
