Stored XSS via Angular expression injection
Published Dec 17, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Live Helper Chat through 3.90 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in an operator's browser. User account fields were rendered without Angular's ng-non-bindable attribute, allowing stored values to be interpreted as Angular expressions when account pages rendered. Exploitation requires an authenticated account and a victim operator viewing the affected page; impact is browser-session data exposure or actions performed in that operator context.
