CVE-2021-41309Network attack vector

Audit-log disclosure via revoked-access authorization failure

Published Dec 8, 2021 · Updated Oct 10, 2024

Broken authentication in Atlassian Jira Server and Data Center before 8.19.1 allows remote attackers to export protected project audit logs. The /plugins/servlet/audit/resource endpoint fails to enforce revoked Jira Service Management project access when serving another project user's export. Exploitation requires prior project access that has since been revoked, and the reported consequence is disclosure of audit-log contents.
