Cleartext credential storage in ECOA BAS controllers allows remote attackers to retrieve user passwords without authentication. The controller database stores user passwords without encryption, and a remotely accessible query returns those stored credentials. No account or user interaction is required; the exposed password grants the privileges of the corresponding user.
