Hard-coded credentials in ECOA BAS controllers allow remote attackers to obtain administrator privileges without authentication. The Linux distribution image contains a factory-default administrator password that the controller accepts for remote administrative access. Network reachability to the administrative service is the only published gate; successful use grants administrator privileges on the affected controller.
