Administrative access via client-side password validation

Improper authentication in Omikron MultiCash Desktop 4.00.008.SP5 allows local users to obtain administrative application access. The login function validates passwords entirely in the client while every database request uses one shared technical account. A local user able to debug or patch the process can force a successful return value and sign in as any known account, including an administrator.
