Account takeover via unsanitized LDAP synchronization filter
Published Dec 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
LDAP injection in affected Tuleap versions allows remote authenticated users to suspend accounts or take over another account. Daily synchronization inserts a user-controlled ldap_id into an LDAP search filter without proper sanitization, allowing ldap_uid reassignment. Exploitation requires an enabled LDAP plugin and either Tuleap site-administrator access or LDAP account-modification privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
