Process abort via tile-shape integer overflow
Published Nov 5, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Integer overflow in TensorFlow before 2.4.4, 2.5.0 through 2.5.1, and 2.6.0 allows local users to crash the process via tf.tile. TileOp multiplies each input dimension by an attacker-controlled tiling multiple and passes an overflowed element count to TensorShape::AddDim, whose CHECK failure aborts execution. Reaching the flaw requires local ability to submit tensor operations; exploitation terminates only the TensorFlow process, without reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
