Cross-site scripting via HTML-interpreted position target

Cross-site scripting in jQuery UI before 1.13.0 allows remote attackers to execute untrusted JavaScript through the position utility. The .position() method passes a string from its of option directly to jQuery's constructor, which interprets HTML-like input and creates executable DOM nodes. Exploitation requires an application to feed attacker-controlled text into that option and user interaction to run the affected browser-side path.
