Function execution via automatic callable registration
Published Nov 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Code injection in sroehrl neoan3-apps/template before 1.1.1 allows remote attackers to execute callable values during template rendering. Template::embrace automatically registers each callable data-array value as a closure under its input key, exposing it for invocation by template expressions. Exploitation requires attacker-controlled input or database content to reach a rendered template; the invoked in-scope function or method determines the resulting impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
