Path traversal in Amazon Web Services tough before 0.12.0 allows remote authenticated users to overwrite files via crafted target names. The cache_target path joins its output directory with a target-derived filename without first rejecting traversal constructs. An attacker must control target metadata in a repository consumed by the application; writes use the application's filesystem permissions and can corrupt or replace accessible files.
