User account access via LiveQuery token disclosure
Published Sep 30, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Information disclosure in Parse Platform Parse Server before 4.10.4 allows remote attackers to read newly created user session tokens. ParseLiveQueryServer broadcasts Parse.User create and update payloads without removing sessionToken, although regular query responses remove it. Exposure requires LiveQuery to include Parse.User and a subscription able to receive those events; leaked tokens permit access as affected users.
