Database compromise via hardware search SQL injection
Published Nov 11, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Zoho ManageEngine Network Configuration Manager before 125465 allows remote attackers to alter database data via hardware details search. The hardware details search passes attacker-controlled input into a SQL query without adequate neutralization, enabling injected statements. The network-facing interface requires no authentication according to the published CVSS vector, and successful exploitation can disclose, modify, or delete database records.
