CVE-2021-41029Network attack vector

Authenticated script execution via stored web input

Published Dec 8, 2021 · Updated Oct 25, 2024

Stored XSS in Fortinet FortiWLM 8.6.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through crafted HTTP requests. Fortinet states that the web interface stores attacker-supplied JavaScript on the device and later triggers it, but does not identify the affected page or input. Low-privileged network access is required, and execution crosses a security boundary without interrupting the service.
