Authenticated command execution through CLI injection
Published Oct 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Command injection in affected ClearPass Policy Manager 6.8.x, 6.9.x, and 6.10.x releases allows remote authenticated users to execute host commands. HPE identifies the command-line interface as the affected locus but has not disclosed the command, parameter, or input-handling path. Reachability requires a low-privilege authenticated account with CLI access; execution can read, modify, or interrupt data and services within that account's context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
