Stored XSS via unsanitized Exclude URLs
Published Jun 13, 2022 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Stored XSS in flatCore-CMS 2.0.8 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in another user's browser via Exclude URLs. The Create New Page index form saves an Exclude URLs value containing script markup and later renders it on the index administration page without effective output neutralization. An account with Create new Pages permission must store the payload, and another authenticated user must view the affected page; successful exploitation exposes that user's login session.
