Authenticated SQL injection via unsanitized filter expression
Published Dec 8, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
SQL injection in Genesys Intelligent Workload Distribution before 9.0.013.11 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL. The custom-filter endpoint inserts the ql_expression GET parameter into a database query without sanitization, enabling boolean- and time-based blind injection. Access to the iWD Manager is required; exposed data is limited by the database account, while OS command execution depends on the database engine and its permissions.
