Code execution via unvalidated 3GP parsing
Published Sep 7, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Out-of-bounds read in Adobe Premiere Pro 22.0 and earlier and 15.4.2 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute code via a malicious 3GP file. The 3GP parser fails to validate user-supplied file data before reading beyond the end of an allocated memory structure. Exploitation requires the victim to open the crafted file and runs attacker-controlled code in the current user's process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
