Application denial-of-service via null pointer dereference
Published Mar 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Null pointer dereference in Adobe Premiere Elements 20210809.daily.2242976 and earlier allows remote attackers to cause application denial-of-service. The parser dereferences a null pointer while processing specially crafted file content, terminating the application. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file, and the interruption occurs in that user's application context.
