Application crash via crafted-file null dereference
Published Nov 22, 2021 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Null pointer dereference in Adobe Prelude 10.1 and earlier allows attackers to crash the application through a crafted file. The file parser dereferences a null pointer while processing malformed input, but Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or file format. Exploitation requires a user to open the file and interrupts only that user's Prelude process; no confidentiality or integrity impact is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
