Out-of-bounds memory access in Adobe Character Animator 4.4 and earlier allows attackers to crash the application via a crafted file. Adobe identifies the flaw only as an access past the end of a buffer during file parsing and has not disclosed the parser, file format, or faulty operation. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious file, and the documented consequence is interruption of the current application process rather than code execution.
