Code execution via out-of-bounds memory access
Published Mar 16, 2022 · Updated Apr 23, 2025
Out-of-bounds memory access in Adobe Audition 14.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a user opens a crafted file. The affected file parser accesses memory after the end of a buffer, but Adobe has not identified the parser or file format. A user must open the file; successful exploitation runs code with that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
