CVE-2021-40712Network attack vector

Authenticated service interruption via malformed path parameter

Published Sep 27, 2021 · Updated Apr 23, 2025

Improper input validation in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.9.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to interrupt the server. A malformed POST request supplies invalid data through the path parameter, which the server processes without adequate validation and enters a denial-of-service state. A valid account is required, and the reported consequence is application unavailability without data disclosure or modification.
