Arbitrary code execution via malicious SVG parsing
Published Sep 29, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Memory corruption in Adobe Premiere Pro 15.4 and earlier allows attackers to execute arbitrary code by opening a crafted SVG file. The SVG importer mishandles malicious file data during parsing and accesses memory past the end of a buffer. Exploitation requires a local user to open the file, and resulting code runs with that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
