Unauthorized JMX access via unauthenticated Jolokia endpoint
Published Sep 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 4, 2024
Authentication bypass in Talend ESB Runtime 5.1 through 7.3.1-R2021-09 allows remote attackers to read or modify runtime state. The Jolokia HTTP/JSON bridge forwards unauthenticated requests to the runtime container's JMX interface, exposing managed-object reads and modifications. Any remote attacker who can reach the endpoint can inspect or alter the container and software running inside it without credentials.
